Dynamic Family Art Therapy is owner operated by licensed Art Therapist and Marriage and Family Therapist, Amelia Upton, MA, LMFT, ATR-BC, MHP. Amelia (she/they) received their masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy at Antioch University Seattle. She worked in community mental health settings supporting children and families with diverse backgrounds and needs prior to opening Dynamic Family Art Therapy.
Amelia self-identifies with the LGBTQ+ community as queer, Jewish, neurodiverse, and experiences chronic medical conditions. Amelia values honesty, cultural differences, creativity, and anti-racism. She honors these values and confronts bias and prejudice in their life and therapy practice.
